Always wanted to learn to paint but weren't sure where to start? This class is designed for beginners and anyone looking to build a strong foundation. We'll explore the basics of painting, including paints and tools, color, shapes, value (light and dark), composition, and simple techniques that will help you create successful paintings. You'll learn step by step in a relaxed, encouraging environment where the focus is on learning, experimenting, and enjoying the creative process. No previous painting experience is required, however a good foundation in drawing is recommended-Drawing class is offered in the Spring. All supplies and materials included: Golden Heavy body paint set, paint brushes, canvas’s. $400 for four weeks. Held at Lucid TLC Art Gallery and Studio, 111 N. Main Street, Nixa, Missouri.
